Why don’t they just polygraph all the SANParks staff. In my company if you want to be employed you have to sign consent for a polygraph, so why can’t SANParks do the same?
The fact they won’t implement this makes me wonder if all in the food chain, including the decision makers, are nervous of the results of a polygraph.

They are regularly polygraphed, BC...SAPS, SANDF and SP, but only low-level employees...
it is very effective, as you say.

I cannot overstate the sacrilege of this particular case. It is a shock, but perhaps not unexpected. I am unusually angry, and an old buddy of many of us, wildtuinman, has a shared anger. : https://www.sanparks.org/forums/viewtop ... 67&t=94542
This is really a tipping point, as said.

Turns out the rhino was still alive when dehorned, and had to be put down by the other rangers, according to Buks in Beeld.
It is also suspected Landela wounded another rhino first, as he booked out a pack of .375 ammo at Satara that morning and only 3 of the 4 used bullets are accounted for.

So animal cruelty was added to the other 8 charges against Landela in court on Thursday. Mr Mabasa says he will receive his intent of dismissal notice on Monday. It is unclear what the situation is with Motshotso, as he works for State Vet sevices, not SANParks.
