I think this is an Erepsia sp., there are quite a few recorded from the Cape peninsula, such as Erepsia anceps, they look all alike to me, perhaps you find something in your book -O-

Thanks SO much for being so patient with me, Toko O0 O0 You are LOTS better than my book, as most of these don't really look much like the pix in the book. I appreciate your help with these IDs very much and I am learning better how to ID plants for myself, but I fear that I'm rather a slow learner :o0ps:

I agree, arks, Toks is a real star when it comes to plant ID (just as well as all the smaller critters that crawl around) ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^ O0
