What is this?

We saw it in Richard's Bay. It was about 10cm long and about as fat as my thumb. When you touch it, it rolls up into a ball.

What kind of spider is this?
I thought it could be a golden orb -O-

The first is a slug, Amoli! :-)

The second a Wolf spider, or rain spider as they are sometimes called! ;-)

Cannot be sure, but they are probably one of the Dermestid beetles which are also known as “Skin Beetles” or “Hide Beetles”. Some species feed on the desiccated remains of animal carcasses after blowfly larvae have left.
