Spotted Crake

There has been great excitement this weekend in the birding world. A Spotted Crake was spotted ^0^ at Waterfall Country Estate (about 5 mins from where we live). The Crake is a rare summer visitor so its appearance has seen hundreds of birders flocking :twisted: to find it.

How did you manage to get it done? Pushing the others into the pond so you'd have some space for taking photos? lol

Mel, the crake was walking along the waterline, so everyone was lined up on the bank...enough space for everyone. \O

There is a big lacuna in your nature lessons and knowledge of the environment if you do not include the birds. They are extremely important to evolution :twisted:
